The 2nd Annual Georgia Sign Spinning Championship (GSSC) took place on January 12th at Monday Night Brewing – The Garage, inside the Chandelier Room. Open to the public, the event brought together Atlanta’s sign spinning community for a night that blended competition with celebration.
Friends, family, and fans of the AArrow Sign Spinners Atlanta team filled the space for food, drinks, live energy, and an unforgettable showcase of talent.
The Competition
Nine of Georgia’s top sign spinners competed for a $500 grand prize and the title of Georgia Sign Spinning Champion. The level of creativity and execution was high from start to finish, making the judges’ decisions anything but easy.
Final Results
1st Place ($500): Josiah Miller
2nd Place ($250): Nancy Dewar
3rd Place ($100): Timothy Obialo
Josiah Miller made GSSC history by becoming the first-ever back-to-back Georgia Sign Spinning Champion, while first-time competitors Nancy Dewar and Timothy Obialo impressed the crowd and judges alike, ultimately settling second and third place through a tie-breaker round.
Judges & Special Guests
The event was supported by AArrow members and sign spinning legends from across the country, serving as judges and event organizers. The panel included 2017 WSSC finalist Theo Davis, 2017 finalist Sam Youngblood, reigning World Champion Tyler Cartwright, legendary AArrow MC Day Day Jordan, AArrow Director of Marketing Bryan Sanchez, and Atlanta franchise owner Rami Putrus.
