We are going all the way to Las Vegas this month to recognize one of our hardest working AArrow Sign Spinners out there. Westley Fong, congratulations, you are May’s Sign Spinner of the Month! Westley, originally from California but currently residing in Las Vegas, has been spinning for over two and half years. It didn’t take Wes long to learn the tricks and rise to the top as one of the best sign spinners in Las Vegas. His favorite tricks are the Water Wheel, the Helicopter Pop-Off to Tripod, and the Patty-Cake (like most Las Vegas spinners). It’s not just the tricks the make Westley a superstar, it’s his dedication and reliability to get the job done. Westley not only braces the harsh desert conditions from the winds and brutal Las Vegas sun, but has also never called off for a shift, ever!
Westley has taken inspiration from AArrow legends like Larry Fuller, to help inspire him to be the best. He also looks up to Rico because he is humble and entertaining. One day, Wes hopes to place in the top five at the World Sign Spinning Championships, but for now he says he’s got a long way to go. He’s personal advice to all the aspiring sign spinners out there is to stay hungry and to stay humble, great advice Wes!
When Wes isn’t spinning signs, he is spinning pens or hanging out with family and friends. He typically is jamming out to rap and hip-hop, preferably West Coast rap and his favorite food has got to be sushi. His favorite anime of all time is a tie between Naruto and Rurouni Kenshin and his favorite pizza is Hawaiian. That’s right, Westley is firm believer that pineapple does indeed belong on a pizza. If you disagree, take it up with him; you already know where to find him, spinning signs in Las Vegas!
