Each year, the 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive gathers thousands of new toys, bicycles, cash, and gift cards to bring joy to children in need. These talented sign spinners are taking to the streets of Las Vegas to promote and support the 25th Annual Toy Drive.

The 25th Annual 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive runs from Thursday, November 30th, 2022, at 6:00 am through Monday, December 11th, 2022, at 10:00 am. This 12-day extravaganza of giving provides ample opportunities for the community to contribute to the cause.
DAILY DROP TIMES
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Friday: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm
- These extended hours ensure that no matter your schedule, there’s a time slot available for you to drop off your donations.
The official donation location for the Toy Drive is NV Energy, located at 6226 West Sahara Avenue, just west of Jones in Las Vegas. Look for the “Big Thirty Foot Scaffold,” where Chet Buchanan himself can be seen, tirelessly encouraging and thanking donors. This iconic location has been the heart of the Toy Drive for years, and it’s the only official donation point.
While NV Energy is the primary collection point, there are other ways to contribute as well. Many local businesses, schools, and civic organizations hold their collections and bring them to Toy Drive. These unofficial drop-off points contribute significantly to the success of the event. However, it’s essential to ensure that if you choose this option, you leave your donations with someone you know and trust. Evaluating and monitoring all these locations would be challenging, so the official Toy Drive team recommends directly delivering your contributions to NV Energy.
