October was a big month for us. We helped Dunkin celebrate their grand opening in California, and we spent a day at Tropical Park in Miami for Puptoberfest with our client Best Friends Animal Society. On the media side, our own Jose Castanon showed up in a Springy USA vintage clothing commercial and in the independent film Mia, Indeterminate, which earned him Sign Spinner of the Month. Here’s everything we’ve been up to.
Fresh Coffee, Fresh Location, Fresh Moves!
AArrow Sign Spinners is keeping things brewing in Monrovia, California, as we help promote the grand opening of a brand-new Dunkin’ drive-thru location! For the past several years, we have proudly partnered with this Dunkin’ franchise group to help generate excitement and increase visibility for their new store openings. As they continue to expand, our sign spinners are right there with them, bringing energy, movement, and attention to each new location.
Puptoberfest 2026: Sign Spinners Back for Round Two
We’re wagging our tails over this one! For the second year in a row, Sign Spinners was hired by Best Friend Animal Association to help spread the word about Puptoberfest, the annual free dog and cat adoption day in Miami. This year’s festival took over Tropical Park on Sunday, October 25, with hundreds of shelter pets looking for homes. Families wandered through a fall market, grabbed bites from food trucks, enjoyed live entertainment, and met adoptable animals in a relaxed outdoor setting.
From Street Corner to Screen: SPRINGY USA
Every once in a while, something happens that reminds us how far a good sign spinner can go. Our very own Jose Castanon recently showed up on screen in a video for SPRINGY USA, the vintage sports clothing brand with more than 637K followers on Instagram. Jose was styled head to toe in vintage gear and did what he does best: spinning a sign outside a car wash. Then the main character pulls up in his truck, and the scene ends with him handing a t-shirt to someone washing their car. It’s a fun, nostalgic piece that fits the brand’s throwback energy.
Our Sign Spinner Jose Castanon in Mia, Indeterminate
We love it when someone from our team shows up somewhere unexpected. Jose Castanon, one of our sign spinners, took a small role in the short film Mia, Indeterminate, and we’re excited to share it with you.
Mia, Indeterminate is a short comedic drama about a woman who has recently moved her mother, Bird, into her home. Bird is magnetic and funny, but living with her is often exhausting, and she lives with a mental illness. As Mia follows her through one eventful day, she starts to see that she can’t manage everything, and that sometimes the better choice is to loosen her grip and go along for the ride.
October’s Sign Spinner of the Month is Jose Castanon, and he’s been busy. Two great stories about him are up on our website, and they show just how far corner sign spinning can go.
First, Jose appeared in a commercial spot for Springy USA Vintage Clothing, bringing his signature flair to the screen. Then he took a small role in the independent film Mia, Indeterminate. We’re stoked to see Joey pushing the limits of what sign spinning can do, from the street corner to the big screen.
Congrats, Jose, and thanks for showing everyone what this craft can do.
