Earlier this month, Philips continued their ‘Express Yourself Every Day’ campaign in London by setting up a tent in Covent Garden Square and calling it the “Philips Bodygroom Barbershop.” Here there were “barber babes”  out to find as many hairy men as possible to shave.

AArrow sign spinners helped Philips recruit random guys off the street and pointed them in the direction of the “barber babes” who took them by the arms and shaved them. One of these spinners, Jeremy White, who has been featured in the Philips commercial for this campaign, was at the event spinning and amazing people passing by.

“I made it a point to distract/slow down as many males as I could so that the “barber babes” could snatch them up. It’s amazing how well that worked out,” White said. And snatch them up he did. From actors to professional athletes to the regular guy next door, people from everywhere showed up and got shaved.

Sign spinners were having just as  much  fun as the “barber babes” trying  to get as  many guys into the tent as  possible. “One  moment you got this  guy spinning a sign,  waving and  saying hello…the next thing  you know, two beautiful ladies are on either side of you, gently  leading you back to the tent to  shave you,” White explains.

This event was a huge success, even though the weather was not as good as everyone had  hoped. “Even with the rain. I daresay it was a success; Of course it was. And it was fun,” White  said. With beautiful women shaving you, how could it not be fun?
