Spinning for Relief: The AArrow Sign Spinners Partner with American Red Cross to Raise Awareness for Hurricane Relief

Spinning for Relief: The AArrow Sign Spinners Partner with American Red Cross to Raise Awareness for Hurricane Relief

LOS ANGELES, CA – The AArrow Sign Spinners, the leading global sign spinning firm, have rallied its employees in markets across the nation to encourage others to donate to the relief efforts underway for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

In partnership with American Red Cross for the last 10 years, AArrow dispatches sign spinners to create awareness for relief when disaster strikes. The signs can currently be seen spinning in Houston, San Antonio, and South Florida and read: “Text ‘REDCROSS’ to 90999 to Donate $10”. The latest outdoor advertising campaign for hurricane relief has consisted of 400 hours of sign spinning and community service and has reached more than 750,000 pedestrians and passers by on various busy street corners and intersections.

As a franchise company that utilizes youth between the ages of 16-24 to provide a unique form of advertising to businesses internationally, AArrow Sign Spinners have offices in Houston and throughout Florida. While many sign spinners in those markets have personally been affected and lost homes and belongings, it has not stopped their will to help others. The company also has banded together to help send supplies such as clothing, toiletries, food and more from its other locations to support its staff and their families that have recently been displaced by both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

“With more than 2,800 employees in more than 10 countries, we want to do our part to make a difference,” AArrow CEO Max Durovic said. “Whether that is helping a member of the AArrow family, helping a stranger, or helping to raise awareness for the good work American Red Cross is doing to help those who need it most, we are proud and humbled to play a small part in doing good and giving back.”
